Buying Guide
What should I consider when choosing an Our Banner In The Sky print?
- Space and wall size: Larger canvases (32×48) suit expansive areas; smaller prints fit compact walls.
- Material and finish: Canvas prints offer texture and depth; posters may be framed for a traditional look.
- Framing options: Ready-to-hang canvases are convenient; framed prints provide a finished elegance but may add cost.
- Color and fade resistance: Look for high-resolution inks and anti-fade technologies for longevity.
- Budget considerations: Posters and smaller canvases typically cost less than large, gallery-style canvases.
- Statement balance: If using multiple pieces, ensure size variety creates a cohesive arrangement rather than clutter.
Size and placement tips
- Above a sofa or mantel, opt for 24×36 or 32×48 to anchor the space.
- In bedrooms or offices, 16×24 or 12×18 can provide a refined accent without dominating the room.
- Consider a gallery wall approach by combining multiple sizes in a curated layout.
Framing and mounting considerations
- Canvas prints often come ready to hang and require no frame for a modern look.
- Poster-based prints benefit from a frame to protect edges and unify styling with other wall art.
- If mounting in high-humidity areas, select frames and materials designed to resist warping or moisture.
